Anyone living in the US or Canada with an email address and access to the web. Most Greenbean Members take advantage of the mobile benefits though, so a SMS text capable mobile phone is highly recommended so you can take your Beans with you – digitally!

With Greenbean, you can opt-in to receive mobile eCoupons, or Beans, from the stores you love. No need to print them out if you’ve got a mobile phone, we’ll text you a Bean that your stores take just like a regular coupon.
You Tell Us What You Want!
You only get Beans from advertisers that you want to get them from. If you like coffee shops, just tell us in your customizable profile. Love to shop at the mall, tell us which malls you shop at and we’ll give you Beans for all advertisers in that mall. It’s that easy!
What kind of Beans get sent to Members?
Greenbean Advertisers send Beans of value. We strongly encourage our advertising partners to give the best deals available to Greenbean Members. Wherever possible, we like them to provide exclusive deals.
How many Beans will I receive?
As many, or as few, as you would like! You have full control of the number of Beans that are delivered to your mobile device. In your profile, you can specify delivery options.
When you receive a Bean from a business you are opted in to their Bean Feed. This means you will receive any of their future Beans according to your subscription preferences.
How can I unsubscribe from a business's Bean Feed?
Log in to your account and go to "My Bean Feed." Uncheck the box next to the business you would like to remove that says, "You are subscribed," and save your updated preferences.
Do you share my information with Greenbean Advertisers?
No. We greatly respect your privacy. Advertisers can only see aggregate reports on the number of subscribers in the system that match their search information. For example, if they search for Greenbean Members in Florida within the ages of 18-25, the system will give them only a count of the number of Members who have identified your company or shopping location as. We never give out mobile numbers, email addresses or other personal information.
How do you know what kind of Beans I want?
During the simple registration process, we ask a few questions about what you’re interested in? For example, if you like ice cream, you can select to receive Beans from our partners that offer ice cream specifically, or if you’d like to receive more Beans, you can select a more general category like Food. The important thing is that you have full control over what you receive, how many and when.
Do you have any widgets and applications for MySpace, Facebook and other sites?
The Development Team at Greenbean is hard at work on bringing you a cool Facebook application as the first step. We’re interested in hearing what you’d like to see, so let us know what you’d use on your site.
How can I get my favorite businesses to provide Beans through Greenbean?
It’s simple – tell them you love Greenbean and want them to be involved! If you have the email address of someone you know at the company, Spill the Beans! Just make sure you don’t SPAM anyone. If you don’t know anyone at the store, you can Recommend an Advertiser by completing a short form. We’ll take care of the rest.
